Students on the exchange programme
With several hundred partner universities on all continents, each year Université Paris-Saclay welcomes several students on the exchange programmes, particularly within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, and in doing so confirms its commitment to an international outlook.
Students from a university which is a partner of Polytech Paris-Saclay or Université Paris-Saclay wishing to apply for a semester or a year of study at Polytech Paris-Saclay should follow the instructions below.
Applying through your home university
- Check with your university's international relations office that there is an exchange agreement for students with Université Paris-Saclay in your subject area.
- Submit a pre-selection application to your university to be nominated by your home institution.
Choice of courses at Polytech Paris-Saclay
In order to come to Polytech Paris-Saclay to carry out a study exchange programme, you need to have a coherent study programme so that the courses you have taken are properly recognised on your return. Please check the training offer for exchange students at Polytech Paris-Saclay in order to create your Learning Agreement.

Apply online
Once you have been selected by your home university, you can apply online. The link to the online application form will be sent individually to students after nomination by their home university.
You can also access the application portal for incoming students here. Before applying you will need to create an account on the right hand side of the screen which will pop up. This will allow you to save your data and return to it later to complete your application.
Please note: We recommend that you use a browser other than Internet Explorer.
Closing dates for online applications for the start of the 2021/2022 academic year:
- 1st semester (September – January) or the academic year: up to 15 May 2021
- 2nd semester (January – May): up to 30 October 2021
Approval and acceptance
The exchange officer at Polytech Paris-Saclay will check and sign your Learning Agreement. He will contact you if any alterations need to be made.
You will receive a letter of acceptance (around the beginning of June) as soon as your application has been approved. You will have 10 days to confirm that you want to come to Université Paris-Saclay.
Polytech Paris-Saclay does not issue a degree within the framework of an exchange programme. At the end of the semester or year, we will provide you with a statement of grades so that your university can validate the credits obtained.
